Its slim and compact cabinet has been designed for optimum placement in the limited space above or below video monitors or screens. As its name suggests the Genelec 1038BC is best suited for use as a center channel speaker with a pair of Genelec 1038B active monitors. The 1038BC employs the same midrange treble drivers and Directivity Control Waveguide™ (DCW) as a standard 1038B as well as the same amplifier unit to ensure complete tonal compatibility. Genelec 1038BC is a three-way active monitoring system including magnetically shielded loudspeaker drivers and speaker enclosure and multiple power amplifiers and low signal level crossovers. Designed for medium sized control rooms -- this system is also ideal for vedio and film post-production studios and multichannel music recording and broadcast monitoring. DVD mastering is also well tailored for where broad-bandwidth high SPLs and extended low frequency response are essential. The separate amplifier unit is built into a rack mount chassis for easy fitting into a standard 19 inch equipment rack. The system can be used both in vertical and horizontal orientations by simply rotating the DCW unit. Please note that 1038BC cabinet is 40mm (1 9\/16 inches) wider than 1038AC.
Electro-Voice","The Electro-Voice® XCS312 is designed for high-level, low-frequency extension to 40 Hz in a cardioid configuration. It uses three DVX3120 forced-air-cooled, 12-inch transducers capable of long, linear excursion and high power handling in a two-channel configuration. XCS312s are designed to be used with a ratio of four XLD281 or XLD291 full-range systems for each XCS312 subwoofer. The XLVC family consists of two full-range Line Array Elements with dual woofers, two full-range Line Array Elements with single woofers and two subwoofer systems. The dual woofer Line Array Element includes the XLD281 with a 120 degree horizontal coverage pattern and the XLD291 with a 90 degree horizontal coverage pattern. The single-woofer Line Array Element includes the XLE181 with a 120 degree horizontal coverage pattern and the XLE191 with a 90 degree horizontal coverage pattern. The XCS312 cardioid subwoofer module has the same rigging footprint as the XLD281 and XLD291, which allows it to be directly arrayed above, or below XLD281 or XLD291 full-range systems. LAPS modeling software quickly provides array configurations and rigging information. XCS312 subwoofers can be used as the base for ground-stack applications, or by using EV's XGS-4 ground-stack Kit for XLVC. XLVC delivers unprecedented performance in applications ranging from live reinforcement, to performing arts venues, to house-of-worship.
