Electro-Voice","The XLD281 is the core element for constructing X-Line Very Compact systems. The XLD281 is a three?way design using Coverage Control Technology (CCT™) to provide control horizontal coverage to 250Hz. The XLD281 uses an eight-inch, neodymium, low-frequency transducer, an eight-inch, neodymium, LF\/MB transducer, and two neodymium, two-inch, voice-coil compression drivers combining through two Hydra™ plane wave generators into a 120 degree x 10 degree waveguide. CCT™ uses both eight-inch transducers to provide maximum low-frequency output and operating bandwidth while controlling horizontal beamwidth to 250 Hz by using DSP. The XLD281 can be used in triamp mode, or in biamp using a sophisticated internal passive network. Designed for use in arrays of four or more elements, the XLD281 delivers full-bandwidth audio with precise, predictable coverage control. Integrated rigging with hinge points located correctly between array elements is easy to use and quickly provides uncompromised line array performance. Ground-stacking is easy using array rails or subwoofers as the array base.
Atlas Sound","Model PM4FA-B uses the familiar response and dispersion of Atlas Sound's model FA134 high performance 4\" Strategy Series® driver. This loudspeaker is the same FA series device used in Atlas Sound's popular FAP42T in-ceiling speaker package. Mounted down-firing in an attractive enclosure, the PM4FA provides natural sounding, wide coverage for low height installations while retaining very impressive full range frequency response for both music and paging applications.
